They have a wonderful feel and because they are stainless, last for up to a year! The E will go bad first but you can order them individually from Just Strings. The sound is relatively mellow compared to standard strings but this is an advantage with many mandolins. Personally, I can use nothing else after using these for the last 3 years. Very much worth the extra money. Highly recommended!
