Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5Tom V.June 28, 2011Long playing and good tone quality. I've played many brands over the 30+ years of playing, this is now my first pick.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5daveJune 21, 2011I love these strings! I find them easy to play, great sound, and they hold tune beautifully - better than any others I've tried, and that's a lot. Further, they keep tone forever - I've had a set on for 3 months, and they sound fine, really. I only changed as i wanted a slightly heavier gauge. Worth every penny, for me.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 3Dave MathesonMarch 28, 2011I love these strings because of the light touch but also find a lot of buzzing for the same reason. I bought these as an experiment at the same time as buying some Spectrum strings as well. I'm inclined to use Spectrums instead of these strings and may be looking into returning the Plectrums I purchased to exchange for Spectrums. Don't get me wrong - these are very nice strings I just play too heavily to use them. I may also investigate other gauges of Plectrums to try but as I commented on Spectrums these strings aren't cheap compared to other strings out there so I am still assessing whether the high cost is worth the quality.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5BradMarch 4, 2011I needed lower tension strings for my one-off Brazilian rosewood acoustic with cedar top. These strings are beautiful, with a supple feel. They are less aggressive than many other bronze strings, but perfect for this guitar and how I want to play it. They have a more subtle tone, and finger noise is reduced on wound strings. The coated plain strings provide a nicer transition in feel to the wound ones.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5Michael P.November 19, 2010This seems like the right set of strings for my Don Musser acoustic. The guitar has a big, clear, full sound without being boomy, and with great note definition. These strings complement those characteristics very well. I particularly like the evenness of tension from string to string - reminds me of a fine jazz guitar set.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 4GlenOctober 9, 2010They are not really flat wound strings, but they sound pretty good for my arch top. These guys do make very good strings overall.

Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5Michael SwisherSeptember 25, 2010I bought this set of Plectrums for a mid '60'sGibson B-25. I worked on this guitar for a friend who is the original owner. For those unfamiliar with this model it is a lightweight small-body with a plastic bridge. I tried several string sets, and with an eye to keeping the tension low I included the Plectrums. The bottom line is that they made the guitar sound very good, much more complex and balanced, and musical. Much better than I had heard with any other set. I put another set on my wife's entry-level OM (replacing Martin SP lights) and found a similar boost in musicality with the plus of balanced string tension. They work equally well for finger style and plectrum. If you are looking for a better than most set of strings, consider trying a set of these.

Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5JustBradFebruary 10, 2010How do you define quality? I rolled up a window on a Rolls Royce once and it was different... it was better than my dad's chevy. That sense of quality has been with me my entire life. Play a set of Thomastik-Infeld's and you'll know what I'm talking about! Simply amazing sound, great playability and they last a long time.

Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5CarmineOctober 6, 2009The best strings I have ever used. I have played what is considered the top 6-8 brands, and these beauties win hands down. Tone is gorgeous, bending is easy, they last longer than any other 'non-coated' strings. Amplified or not, the sound is great with clarity, extended highs and solid bass. Treat yourself one time and you will hear the true potential of your guitar.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5Jeffrey GilbertAugust 14, 2009For those of us who play a wide range of music on their acoustic steel strings guitars these strings do it all. Last longer, sound and feel better. I have sometimes had to go to slightly larger gauge trebles to solve issues of 'string slap'. That only made it better still.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5Reynaldo AlvaAugust 14, 2009My favorite acoustic string now. I didn't know they made an acoustic set of strings in flatwound for most of this set. A mellow sound and very little finger string noise when playing which I like. I love the sound of these strings - my choice of acoustic strings to play.
Thomastik-Infeld Acoustic Guitar Plectrum Bronze Flat Wound/Bronze Round Wound Light, .011 - .050, AC111star rating 5PeteAugust 14, 2009I have been playing for over 30 years with many different strings and these have turned out to be my favorites. Enjoy!
