On that guitar, they sound wonderful, with the slightly muted, soft sound that I prefer. So, when I bought a Cordoba, with a spruce top, I naturally installed these same strings. Not the same synergy at all. On this guitar, I get a "honk" sound, more like a ukelele. Not terrible, but not the same mellow sound I get on the Yamaha (cedar) top. Lesson: Each guitar is different. Still, an excellent string, with the right guitar.
