They have a good feel to them and they hold the tuning extremely well. They sound great on my Mastercraft Elite banjo with a bell brass tone ring. They give you a lot of pop with excellent sustain. I like the fact RotoSound uses plain steel as opposed to stainless because the RotoSounds are more flexible and that is great for playing fast and heavy-handed pickers like myself.
