Strong fundamental with superb harmonics. They are the only string I use on my fretless basses. Just a couple of tweeks from the tone controls and a change in plucking position can get you from "Jaco Bark" to Ray Brown "upright" in a hurry. Have been using these strings since the late 1980's and had the same set on my main fretless for 3 years of hard touring and they still sound great. Heads up: you should check intonation with every change of these strings as your bass "settles in" over time - just like you in your favorite chair.

BUT THE SETS LIKE THE 800M SERIES FOR 6/7 STRING GUITAR IS FANTASTIC!!!!!. GREAT GUITAR STRINGS!!!!!.
