For me, the only reason to go to a heavier rated set was to eliminate the 'floppy' characteristics of the lighter 'E' (at .011") and the aforementioned 'A' strings, at .015". So far, only D'Addario (J75) seems to have addressed this - although GHS have a 260 set, but the 'E' remains an .011". Too much info for some, no doubt..! Happy pickin', F5MANDO
