I always come back to the GHS strings. They sound great and last much longer than most brands. The contact cores are great for the 5 string. The B string provides better control and sound without vibrating/resonating too much. I love the B on these strings. Not hip on the steels but these strings are quick fingering. The are a little brighter than Boomers.
