This set souded great, except for the E string. Being the lowest string, it wraps around the pole too close to the end of the wrap "proper"- the strings always speak better when the thinner wrap only surrounds the pole. Most of us use 34" scale -it seems like this set would suit a 35" scale at least. The Vic Wooten set is the best ever by the way!
