I can tell you that they will not use anything else. I introduced our bluegrass gospel group to Elixir strings several years ago and most of us swear by them. The only one we have problems with is the guitar G string keeps breaking. Other than that everyone loves them. If you find a solution to this problem our group would be exclusive to elixir strings.

The Nanoweb coating makes slides so easy and they have a really great tone. They do sound a little bright when first installed but that goes away after a day or two. They last a really long time and sound great the whole time, definitely my favorite mandolin strings.
