Elixir Electric Guitar NanoWeb Coating, .010 - .046, 12052star rating 4Bill FriedsonDecember 2, 2009I've been using Elixir NanoWeb strings on both acoustics and electrics for years. Overall, I am pleased with them. They tend to have a bright sound that I prefer. Their main selling point is their durability. Elixirs last significantly longer than other noncoated strings. My one complaint is the unevenness of string wear. On every set I've used, the D string wears out quickest, getting furry and losing tone quicker than the other strings.
