Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 3GeorgeApril 28, 2011When I get a good set, I love them, there's nothing better. But I find the quality to be somewhat inconsistent. Once in a while a new set will have a G or D that is just plain dead.
Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 4george hannaApril 26, 2011I started using Elixir strings shortly after they came on the market and liked them immediately. When they developed the nano web formula I went with them up until they produced the phosphor bronze, which I then started using exclusively on all my acoustics. Once in awhile I'd put on a set of coated strings from other manufacturers, but none of them seemed to hit the same satisfaction spot as well as the Elixirs. The only complaint I've had is over string breakage,(mostly the"G"), sometimes on the same day I put them on and always at a gig of course. I keep a log of all string changes and why so I"ll certainly let you know. You can ditto this note for the polywebs as well. Thanks for the interest.
Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 5Dennis SatterleeApril 26, 2011I've been playing traditional bluegrass music for over 40 years. I have played bronze strings for many years and never cared that much for the 80/20 string sound. These new Elixers have changed all that. I have some older D-28s and a 1950 Southern Jumbo. I wouldn't use any other string on my guitars. These strings sound great and last forever and I can't find a better price than right here.
Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 5BrianMarch 17, 2011I love elixir strings. They have great sound and last a lot longer than regular strings. Great for bluegrass on an HD 28 martin.
Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 5Joe R.January 21, 2011These strings are great. I have several acoustic guitars and tried several different brands of guitar strings. I like the elixir the best for tone, playability and durability.
Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 2Paul L.December 2, 2010I agree that Elixer strings may be wear well, but they are a real tone killer. Can't understand why Taylor (I own a GC and GS) recommends them. Try D'Addario EXP for a bright and far better string!
Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 5DonSeptember 24, 2010Great string. I use them on my Taylor. Great tone and last forever.

Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 5Tom StewartJanuary 27, 2010I've used Elixir Nanoweb medium gauge for years now. I would use nothing else. They last longer, have brighter tone longer and break less than any other string, and I play very aggressively. Thank You!

Elixir Acoustic Guitar Medium NanoWeb Coating, .013 - .056, 11102star rating 5AndyAugust 15, 2009Musicians can debate which strings sound best, but there is no question that Elixir Nanoweb mediums sound good ... and they keep sounding good for longer than any other good-sounding string on the market. Throw in the fact that the coating seems to minimize string squeak, and I think the product is a real winner. Highly recommended. A.
