I've had this set on now for about 6 weeks and our Soundman hasn't had to change my EQ at all. The strings are maintaining their brightness and ability to produce overtones - the harmonics are still "clear as a bell". I'm 59 years old and been playing since I was 12. I see no reason to use any other Acoustic Guitar strings but Elixir.
