They are great for harmonics, plucking/fingerstyle and very easy to slap. I have used DR strings for about 8 years now and I love them. As soon as I bought my new bass within a week I picked up a set of Low Riders and plan to buy a set for my Michael Kelly if the make a set for acoustic basses. Just strings works well for me because they come right to my door and I make sure I get them a day or two before I need them so I can loosen them up. Happy playing.

The only thing I dislike is the high tension, I had to adjust my truss rod after installing them on my bass, but aside from that these are killer stainless steel strings.
