I tried them even though I was happy with what I was using before, but I liked the DR guitar strings so much I tried the banjo strings. My opinion that these are great strings has not changed. Great strings that really last and that allow a great banjo to express its potential.

I have more "ring" to the tone, more sustain when I need it and the tone seems a little richer. These are the strings I plan to use from now on on all my banjos.
