They record very well and just sound blues-roots-rockin. However, don't expect a set to last more than 4 - 6 weeks in regular play (that's where they lose one star); not a problem cost-wise if you don't mind swapping strings. Oddly, they can be hard to find -- but you can always get them here at JustStrings.
