Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5BobAugust 26, 2011These are the among the best sounding strings that I have found for my American made Ovation Elite. I definitely will be ordering more!
Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5BobJuly 31, 2011I have tried many string brands and have to say the Adamas Phosphor Bronze are by far the best sounding string on my American made Ovation Elite!
Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5DanJune 26, 2011I've played an Ovation since 1972 and have never been disappointed in the quality of their products. That includes these strings. I don't play as much as I used to and I do try other strings from time to time, but these are always a comfortable feel and a good reliable string.

Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5jdunnDecember 28, 2010This is the only acoustic guitar string that I will use on my electric/accoustic Takamimi guitar. Great tone and sustain.
Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5kgOctober 18, 2010These are the only strings I play. I have an Applegate SJ (think Olson / JT) and when I read JT used these strings on his Olson's, I tried them and have never gone back. Like with any strings, you have to wash your hands before touching your guitar, or the strings don't last very long.

Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5Tony LisenbyAugust 16, 2010I have been using this particular string and gauge (12s) since the early 80s. I first used them as Peavey Balanced 12s until I couldn't get the Peavey brand anymore. I went through several major brand names, but none of them sounded good on my '65 D-35. I finally discovered that Adamas and Peavey were the same string. They make me sound way better than I really am, and make this guitar sing. I'm glad you carry them. Tony
Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5Russ MasonJuly 24, 2010I used to use the 1818s quite a bit, and they have a very fine, almost shimmery sound. If I have any tiny complaint it is that the 23 G and the 53 E are a little too light for me. If they had 24 and 54 respectively, that would give the sound a bit more punch. Still, great sound. I think James Taylor uses these strings.
Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5DarrellFebruary 11, 2010These Adamas Strings are excellent and I would strongly recommend them. Stay tuned and have beautiful soul , great projection and clarity. Just Strings shipped them very fast and I would recommend them as well as the strings.
Adamas Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, Environmental Packaging, 1818Estar rating 5Bruce QuinnJanuary 1, 2010Tried a lot of different manufacturer's strings, all the typical choices....these sound the best! The acoustic guitar involved is a Yamaha FG-750S, sort of a full size jumbo, etc. Finally, a noticeably superior sound with these 1818 Adamas strings!
